WORLD MUSIC EXPO (WOMEX) – the world’s largest music fair for world, roots, ethnic, folk, traditional and local music – invites musicians, bands and interested artists to apply for a live showcase or to submit music films and conference contributions. This year’s festival will take place from October 25 to 29, 2023 in A Coruña, Spain. The deadline for submissions is March 17, 2023.
The WOMEX call for proposals addresses all musicians, filmmakers and music professionals from across the globe. The official programme is selected from all the received submissions by an independent, international and annually changing jury, also known as the Seven Samurai (2023 jury to be announced soon).
