With another year comes another round of Waves Vienna!
This year the festival will take place from the 1st – 5th of October 2014 and will kick off at the Viennese Konzerthaus with a special opening performance by the Austrialian artist Scott Matthew.

FOCUS ON CROATIA AND NETHERLANDS
Once again Waves Vienna will focus on two guest countries: Croatia, southern neighbour of Austria, and the Netherlands, a country which just recently featured Austria as its focus country at the Eurosonic Noorderslag in January this year.
Accordingly, several artists from these two countries will be highlighted in the Waves Vienna 2014 programme, while the Waves Conference will pay special attention to the musical scenes of Croatia and the Netherlands.
With Vlasta Popić , punk rocker from the Croatian capital of Zagreb, and David Douglas, techno act from the Dutch city of Utrecht, Waves Vienna confirms the first two acts from the focus countries for this year’s line-up.
