From February 2-3, 2012 SPOT On Denmark takes place in Vienna for the 3rd time. Following the sold-out editions in 2010 and 2011, SPOT is turning up the ambitions in 2012 with an increased focus on improving Austrian-Danish music industry trading.
Music industry representatives from Denmark and Austria but also from neighbouring Germany and Hungary gather for two days of international networking and exchange and to discover exciting new bands.
On Thursday the mini-festival introduces SPOT On Vienna – a concert night presenting three new Austrian bands at B72: Monsterheart, Saedi & Diver. On Friday Danish bands take the stage of the WUK: Darkness Falls, Reptile Youth & Il Tempo Gigante.

SPOT On Denmark is a collaboration between MXD – Music Export Denmark and the organisers of the SPOT Festival, ROSA – The Danish Rock Council; in Vienna the event is organised in cooperation with ink music. While the renowned Danish SPOT Festival ( 4-5 May 2012, Aarhus, DK) brings the international music industry to Denmark, the SPOT on Denmark series brings Danish live music to the export markets. The purpose is to present a miniature edition of the SPOT Festival beyond the Danish borders and to stimulate and increase the contact between the Danish music business and the music business of the respective countries.
