After successful registration and log-in, you have the opportunity to submit your applications for the German Jazz Prize 2022. Artistic achievements from the publication period January 11th 2021 to November 30th 2021 can be submitted.
The requirements for the individual prize categories (what constitutes a valid application and which documents must be submitted for each category) are listed individually for each category after registration.
Submissions are possible in 11 categories:
– Debut album of the year
– Vocal album of the year
– Album instrumental of the year
– Debut album of the year – international
– Album vocal of the year – international
– Album instrumental of the year – international
– Composition of the year
– Arrangement of the year
– Radio production of the year
– Festival of the year
– Journalistic achievement of the year
Applications can be submitted by:
Artists, Producers, Managers, Promoters, Employees of Labels, Publishers and Broadcasters as well as Authors of journalistic contributions and Organizers of Festivals.

After submitting your application, you can download the summary of your entries as a PDF. This PDF must also be signed by hand and sent by e-mail in order for your application to be valid. You will receive further information by e-mail after submitting your application.
