Nouvelle Prague is the first-ever music showcase festival in the Czech Republic. The fourth edition of this international music conference and showcase festival will be taking place in various locations in the heart of Prague on the 4th and 5th of November, 2016.
This year the festival will be approaching three key aspects of the music business; music entrepreneurship, networking and the training and education of music professionals. Musicians, bookers, agents, and industry professionals will have a chance to come together in a series of panel discussions, speed meetings and mentoring sessions focusing on many of the pressing issues facing the music industry today. Speakers include Matjaž Manček (Kino Siska, MENT Ljubljana), Olya Moldavskaya (The Orchard), Jake Beaumont-Nesbitt (International Music Managers Forum), Michal Kasčak (Pohoda Festival) and many more.
The festival is set in the premises of the famous Staropramen brewery in Prague´s Smichov district. The fourth edition of Nouvelle Prague will once again feature a variety of upcoming artists from around the world. From the progressive-disco-funk of the Indian band High Time, the good old rock and roll of UK based Fizzy Blood, or the piercing singer-songwriting of New Zealand’s Aldous Harding, it is a chance to see some talented musicians in the incredible setting that Prague has to offer.
