About the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards
After a launch party in 2000, the Amadeus soon turned into one of the top events of the Austrian music scene. Performances by national and international top-notch artists, Amadeus winners and prominent presenters from the “who’s who” of the music and media scene make the Amadeus an attractive show event. On the occasion of the tenth award in 2009, the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards event was fundamentally reformed. Austrian music, genre diversity, interaction with web 2.0, and the public vote have ever since  been in the foreground.
