Finally – the highly anticipated debut album of the Austrian DJ duo Klangkarussell has just been released and guarantees a new dance soundtrack for upcoming summer nights. With the new album “Netzwerk”, Tobias Rieser and Adrian Held, the two Salzburg musicians behind Klangkarussell, can’t seem to do any wrong and are already ranking in the number one spot of the Austrian, German, Hungarian and Swiss music charts.
Two summers ago, in 2012, Klangkarussell’s single “Sonnentanz” took the world by storm and not only brought Klangkarussell instant international fame, but also gave the dusty genre of house music a fresh new lease of life.
The new album “Netzwerk” brings the extended sequel to the hit single “Sonnentanz” with catchy, synth driven tracks and ear-lingering melodies. Once again Klangkarussell prove their ability for unique sound aesthetics and serve up warm melancholy paired with chilled beats and infectious vocals. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right and it is definitely working.
