MIDEM 2012, 28. – 31.01.2012, Cannes (F)


Once again the music industry gathers in Cannes for the biggest international music fair. MIDEM is the place where music makers, cutting-edge technologies, brands & talent come together to enrich the relationship between people & music and form new business connections. 27 Austrian companies and organisations present themselves at the Austrian stand supported by AKM/GFÖM, departure, IFPI/LSG, FAMA, ÖSTIG, WKO Wien and AWO-go international. On Sunday, 29th the traditional Austrian “Happy Hour” will take place at the Austrian stand (17.00, Stand R 12.05).

In addition the first-ever MIDEM festival and MIDEM off, open to attendees and the general public, offers three nights of concerts from international stars & up-and-coming artists. A showcase night at Sparkling – “Austrian Music Box Part II” – will introduce 4 Austrian acts ranging from classical music to pop on Saturday, 28th.
