kevin_mooreKEVIN MOORE (TGE, UK)
– Where are you from & what do you do?
Although The Great Escape takes place in Brighton, we’re actually based in offices in London as part of the MAMA & Co group.

My role at TGE is that of Event Executive and my primary role is to liaise with, and be the point of contact for all of our international and domestic trade partners.
In addition I also oversee The Alternative Escape, the series of off-showcases that take place alongside our core programme.

– Is it your first time at Waves Vienna?
It is indeed! I’ve heard great things about the event and so I am very excited to finally see it.

– Which concerts are you looking forward to?
So many to choose from! For starters Ballet School from Germany who have recently released their debut album on Bella Union in the UK, from Finland the fantastic Jaakko Eino Kalevi and Mirel Wagner, from Canada the beautiful folk of Mo Kenney and then from the UK I’d have to say my personal favourite KWABS.

– What´s your favorite Austrian band?
A tough one…but I think I’m going to have to go with Mile Me Deaf.

I am from Greece and I am responsible for the music design of Reworks Festival and the NON events and productions.

– Is it your first time at Waves Vienna?
Yes!!

– Which concerts are you looking forward to?
Actually a lot of them. Pional, The Hidden Cameras, Mount Kimbie, Kwabs, Koreless, Tamar Antler, Soda Fabric, Ruth Koleva are in my must-see list.

– What´s your favorite Austrian band?
Oh, that´s a not easy one to pick but I am more into the electronic Austrian acts I must admit. (I need to listen to more bands and I count to Waves for that.)
I love the whole G-Stone artist crew and for sure artists such as Dorian Concept, Fennesz, Fauna, Elektro Guzzi, Roedelius, Wolfram to name a few..
