M For Montreal – Nov 15-18, 2017
M for Montreal is a music conference and festival taking place every November. It showcases around 100 local and international buzz-worthy and breakout bands in over 15 venues across the city. The call for submissions for the 12th edition, taking place from November 15-18, 2017, is now open! The festival covers a broad range of genres, from indie rock and pop to electronic, hip-hop, folk, jazz and more. Bands who want a chance to learn from the pros and in addition get some networking done on the side, can submit now. The call for submission is open until April 3rd, 2017.
Mundial Montreal – Nov 14-17, 2017
Mundial Montréal, North America’s World Music Summit, was established in 2011 and has since become one of the leading events showcasing traditional and world music. The festival invites artists to apply for a 25-minute showcase spot at its 7th annual conference in 2017. Its mission is to present the best world music artists from Canada as well as international artists, to industry professionals and the public. Showcasing artists are selected from a blend of applications and invitations to create the right mix of emerging talent. The call for submissions is open until April 3rd, 2017.
Selected artists are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, visas and the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to enter Canada.
