Vienna in the early nineties. After the shoulder padded party hedonism of the eighties, a substantially transformed club culture began to emerge. A new generation of protagonists with a unique and original approach to music came to the fore, young people who had fun with musical experimentation and didn’t take their own creative work too seriously. There was a spirit of optimism. Not least because of the early digitalization, which revealed the democratization of the means of production and was essential for the Viennese sound.
