JA JA JA VIENNA! – Jan 27, WUK

Ja Ja Ja is the definitive Nordic club night celebrating the very best new music emerging from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Each month at The Lexington in London, Musik & Frieden in Berlin and Molotow in Hamburg, Ja Ja Ja hand-picks the finest emerging talent from the Nordic countries, making sure that only the best music is filtered through to your ears. And for the last couple of years they have expanded their reach to the WUK in Vienna Austria. This year, Gundelach will join a line up featuring Iceland’s Axel Flóvent, Danish trio CHINAH and Finnish punks Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS? as Ja Ja Ja takes over WUK in Vienna on Friday 27th January.

This will mark the third year in a row that WUK has played host to Ja Ja Ja, and will see our Nordic club night bring four of the best new Nordic artists to one of the greatest stages in Vienna:
GUNDELACH´s self-titled debut release has been bursting from our speakers throughout the year, as tracks such as ‘Fjernsynet’ and ‘Spiders’ have established him as one of the most exciting artists emerging from Norway. Axel Flóvent on the other hand is a modern folk musician musician from the northern fishing village of Húsavík.

Danish electronic pop trio and Ja Ja Ja alumni CHINAH continue to push musical boundaries with their crisp R&B sound and soulful lyrics. And finally, HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE JANE FONDA AEROBIC VHS? are big favourites at Ja Ja Ja. Their 2015 album Teenage Sweetheart presented a powerful punch of rowdy, punk-infused rock music that has made them one of Finland’s most exciting live propositions.
