SHAPE+ is an platform for innovative music and audiovisual art, co-funded by the EU. Now in its third year, the program has announced a new open call for artists to apply for the working period July 15, 2024 – July 14, 2025.
The goal of SHAPE+ is to help further the careers of European artists through group residencies, commissions, and performances. If accepted as one of 51 SHAPE+ artists, the program will promote you and your activities through social media and weekly interviews with their media partners, which include NTS Radio, Resonance FM, and Wire Magazine. Additionally, 17 forward-thinking festivals and venues will choose artists from the program to perform during the working period.
How to Apply
Applications are open to residents of continental European countries, including Switzerland (but unfortunately excluding Great Britain); you’re asked to provide a link to a streamable sample of your work, as well as the usual personal information.
