The European Emerging Bands Contest @EYE2023 looks to discover the most amazing up-and-coming young European bands to shine on the international stage in Strasbourg, France on the 9th & 10th of June 2023. Apply by April 10th, 2023.

Six selected bands will win an all-expenses paid trip to perform in front of thousands of young Europeans from across the continent as well as a cash prize of €800!

THOUSANDS WILL GATHER

The biggest edition of EYE yet will flood Strasbourg with young people from all over Europe in order to tackle the greatest challenges facing this generation. It is an opportunity to reconnect youth with Europe’s institutions, open dialogue and discussions, express opinions as well as through their music, and nevertheless celebrate all steps forward towards a better world! To serve an incredible audience of engaged European youth, the European Parliament has partnered with JM International to find and support the best new European musical acts, providing a unique platform to be discovered by future fans. By entering the European Emerging Bands Contest you stand a chance to perform at the #EYE2023 on the 9th & 10th of June in Strasbourg, France. All you need to do is submit your entry by the 10th of April 2023 with your band’s info, music & links and convince us you’re the best for the job! The EYE2023 jury will shortlist up to 30 bands and a youth jury will then decide the 6 winners to perform live during the event!

It is a unique opportunity for 16 to 30-year-olds to interact, inspire each other and exchange their views with experts, activists, influencers and decision-makers, right in the heart of European democracy. EYE2023, the fifth edition of the event, will take place on the 9th and 10th of June and will feature both in-person and hybrid activities in Strasbourg. During the event, participants will take part in activities co-created with institutions, international organisations, civil society, youth organisations and participants themselves, offering a space for discussions and networking. In light of the European and global context and ahead of the European elections in 2024, part of the programme will focus on the role of democracy and youth engagement.
