CROSSROADS 2022 – INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FESTIVAL

CROSSROADS is an annual music festival in Salzburg, organized by the Mozarteum University Salzburg, the SEM – Studio for Electronic Music and the INM – Institute for New Music Mozarteum University. The aim is to develop opportunities and networks for young composers and performers of contemporary music, helping to establish or expand international relationships. This year’s festival will take place between the 24th-26th of November. Admission is free!

This year’s festival will feature 25 works by composition students from various European universities. They will be performed by five ensembles from three countries: Cantando Admont (AT), chromoson (IT), NAMES (AT), the Duo Santorsa-Pereyra (DE) and string&noise (AT). The program will be completed with lectures by Sarah Nemtsov, Peter Jakober and Pedro Gonzalez.
