COVID-19: Update for artists with international tours and festivals in spring 2020
Anyone involved in international tours and festivals in the next weeks should regularly check official Government news sources for the respective countries (see links below). Stay in touch with Austrian representations in the country you are performing in and register with the BMEIA in case of emergency: www.bmeia.gv.at
Familiarise yourself with the latest information available about coronavirus (COVID-19) and be able to make informed decisions about your planned travel.
Please be aware of the rapidly changing event regulations in different European countries. Find a list of cancellations or postponed dates for major music business platforms and showcase festivals below.
Make sure to check your travel/cancellation insurance as well as your performance contracts thoroughly. In case of event cancellations please get in touch for an individual assessment and check for existing emergency funding options available for musicians. Showcase and tour funding cases will be assessed case by case until further notice.
