The international c/o pop music festival will take place from the 24th – 28th of August 2016 and will once again offer five days of exceptional musical entertainment by superstars and rising stars, heroes of the international scene and national newcomers.
As always, the line up is strikingly international, featuring bands like UNDERWORLD, BOY, EDWARD SHARPE AND HIS MAGNETIC ZEROS, JAKE BUGG, as well as LOCAL NATIVES, BLOOD RED SHOES, OK KID, ZUGEZOGEN MASKULIN, the Spanish garage rock chicks HINDS, the Israeli sisters A-WA and ISOLATION BERLIN.

c/o pop convention
The c/o pop convention returns with an exciting programme to secure its reputation as a key platform for the music, media and entertainment industries. Taking place on the 25th and 26th of August, this years convention will be taking a closer look at practical topics that proved particularly popular in the past, while simultaneously examining emerging developments in the music business.
On the 25th the central theme is “Brands & Music Day”, hosted by the agency Lautstark together with the c/o pop convention. The second day of the convention is entitled “Exchange & Connect” and focuses on the possibilities opened up by digital innovations.
This year will also be the second year of cooperation with SoundTrack_Cologne (24 – 28 August), the largest German trade fair dedicated to music and sound in film, games and media. Gateways to digital solutions will also be explored in collaboration with the INTERACTIVE Festival which takes place on the 23-25th of August. All events will be taking place in Colognes’s Chamber of Commerce.
The convention is expected to be visited by thousands of international industry members: people involved in the culture and creative industries, representatives from the world of advertising, start ups, artists, producers and marketeers from the various content sectors, all of whom will use the convention to exchange insights, form contacts and take advantage of new business opportunities.
