The World New Music Days (WNMD) 2023 will take place in Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa from 11/23 to 12/3/2023. The call for works has just been published, the different categories and all submission requirements are available here. Deadline to apply is March 10, 2023.
Required documents for the first round:
1) score(s) of the submitted work(s)
2) links to audio, video recording or MIDI, if available (please do not send files, only links)
3) information about duration and year of composition of the piece
4) category of the work (for detailed information see call for entries)
5) short curriculum vitae / website (max. 100 words)
Note:
Preference will be given to works less than 10 minutes in duration composed after 2013, with works composed after 2018 receiving the highest priority.

This call is open to all members of IGNM Austria. 6 works will be selected by the national jury and forwarded to the international jury via “official submission”. At least one of these works will be performed at the WNMD. The submission is free of charge.
