Intimacy of Creativity 2023 – The Bright Sheng Partnership: Composers Meet Performers in Hong Kong – Call for Scores (Application Deadline: December 15, 2022).
Hailed by the Financial Times as a festival with a “finely hewn sense of craft,” Intimacy of Creativity (IC) – The Bright Sheng Partnership: Composers Meet Performers in Hong Kong returns for another innovative season from June 24 to 2 July 2, 2023, presented in partnership with the renowned Curtis Institute of Music.
IC 2023 is now accepting applications from emerging composers for the innovative 2023 season. Up to three selected Composer Fellows will join Prof. Bright Sheng, IAS Helmut and Anna Pao Sohmen Professor-at-Large, and distinguished guest artists to present and revise their music through in-depth open discussions at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and at the concerts at HKUST Shaw Auditorium and Hong Kong City Hall Theatre.
