From September 18 – 21, Europe’s largest showcase festival will once again be taking over the city of Hamburg. For artists, the Reeperbahn Festival is a springboard to Germany and a gateway to the wider world – and Austrian Music Export is looking for acts to represent the Alpine Republic in the far north of Germany!
The Reeperbahn Festival has been thrilling music fans and professionals with its colorful programming since 2006. As usual, Austrian Music Export will be representing in 2024 with its own Austrian Heartbeats showcase. The showcase will be taking place this year at the Twenty Five Club, directly on the Reeperbahn. Last year, the Austrian Heartbeats showcase featured Anda Morts, Cousins Like Shit, fiio and Rahel; the festival has also hosted names like Uche Yara, Sophia Blenda, Bipolar Feminin, Avec, Mother’s Cake, Bibiza, Aymz, Sofie Royer – and now it’s your turn!
How to apply
4 talented Austrian artists will be selected to perform for a large and diverse audience of music industry professionals on Wednesday, September 18th, at the Twenty Five Club. You can apply for a slot in the showcase with a short bio, press photo, and a brief explanation why the showcase is perfect for the artist.
Send your application to office@musicexport.at by May 31st; the acts for the showcase will be selected by the Reeperbahn Festival. Performance in the showcase is unpaid, but Austrian Music Export will contribute a travel stipend of €400 for each act.
