From September 20 – 23, Europe’s largest showcase festival will once again be taking over the city of Hamburg. For artists, the Reeperbahn Festival is a springboard to Germany and a gateway to the wider world…and Austrian Music Export is looking for acts to represent the Alpine Republic in the far north of Germany!
The Reeperbahn Festival has been thrilling music fans and professionals with its colorful programming since 2006 – and as in previous years, Austrian Music Export will be representing with its own showcase, Austrian Heartbeats. The showcase will be taking place at the Indra Club – the venue that first welcomed the Beatles to the European continent. Last year, the showcase featured BIBIZA, Eli Preiss, AZE and LEFTOVERS – now it’s your turn!
How to apply
4 talented Austrian artists will be selected to perform for a large and diverse audience of music industry professionals on Wednesday, 20 September. You can apply for a slot in the showcase with a short bio, press photo, and a brief explanation why the showcase is perfect for the artist.
Send your application to office@musicexport.at by May 31st; the acts for the showcase will be selected by the Reeperbahn Festival. Performance in the showcase is unpaid, but Austrian Music Export will contribute a travel stipend of EUR 400 for each act.
