2014 has been a good year for Austrian artists, who are slowly but surely gaining more and more international recognition. With an extensive feature on the Austrian music scene in the current issue of the German music magazine Musikexpress, Austrian Music Export took this as an incentive to scan through some of the many ‘Best of 2014’ polls and charts and compile a few examples of Austrian artists ranking in international charts. This list is by no means complete, but it does provide an idea of which artists to further look out for in 2015.
