In 2020, c/o Pop will return for the 17th time and will take place from April 22-26 in Cologne. In 2019, the organizers revised the entire concept of c/o Pop and even made a dual move: For the first time, the festival took place at the beginning of the season, in May, and has moved from the Belgian district to colorful Ehrenfeld. The concept has also been further developed in terms of content. Starting this year, all shows that costs entry fee will take place throughout Cologne from Wednesday to Friday, while 60 more concerts and showcases will be held on the weekend at c/o Ehrenfeld in the district of the same name. The c/o Pop Convention will also take place at the same time as the c/o pop Festival and will feature three days of keynotes, panel discussions, presentations, workshops and training sessions.
In addition to indoor and outdoor concerts, c/o Ehrenfeld offers an extensive supporting programme with cultural, athletic and political activities on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival. All program events and concerts are free of charge.
AUSTRIAN HEARTBEATS
Austrian acts have been an integral part of c/o Pop for many years. Previous editions of the festival featured the likes of Mavi Phoenix, Ankathie Koi, Voodoo Jürgens, or Wandl. This year no less than five Austrian acts will perform at the German festival: AVEC, ANGER, KEKE, OEHL and MY UGLY CLEMENTINE.
