Southern Germany’s biggest club and showcase festival didn’t get its reputation from nowhere. From October 5 – 10, the Nuremberg Pop Festival will once again turn the historic city center into a pop mecca, with concerts in churches, museums, and stores, on rooftops, and – oh, right – in music venues.
A colorful mix of hip bands, newcomers, diverse venues and the unique atmosphere of Nuremberg’s old city is the setting for Nuremberg Pop and the parallel Pop Conference, which covers a wide range of industry and cultural topics from the music industry and fosters a lively exchange between artists, event organizers, journalists, media professionals and other music professionals.
Austrian-Bavarian Networking Brunch
Austrian Music Export wouldn’t miss it for the world – and we’ve cooked up something extra with the Association for Pop Culture in Bavaria: the Austrian and Bavarian Networking Brunch on Saturday, October 7th. The reception and brunch starts at a very reasonable 12 p.m., with ample time to regain your strength and chat with colleagues before the showcases – including Austrian acts FARCE and Rahel – start at 2 p.m. Capacity is limited, so if that sounds like it’s up your alley it’s best to RSVP soon!
But obviously that’s only one part of the festivities: Austria will be represented by a stellar line-up of artists at the festival this year. Check it out!
