Calling all artists: registration for The Great Escape 2024 is now open! Whether you are a band, a singer-songwriter, a rapper, DJ, collective or duo, it doesn’t matter – they want to hear from you.
The Great Escape is one of the world’s most renowned festivals for new talent, welcoming artists from every genre and from across the globe. Each year, over 450 acts from around the world travel to England to perform in over thirty venues against the beautiful seaside backdrop of Brighton. This year, the festival will take place from May 15 – 18, 2024 – a weekend packed with music and opportunities to meet music industry figures who come to TGE looking for the next big thing.
As in previous years, Austrian Music Export is planning an Austrian Heartbeats showcase (stay tuned for more info!) but applications to play the main festival are open immediately until February 16, 2024. If your project is chosen to take part, you will be contacted by TGE’s registration team by the end of April 2024.
In years past, The Great Escape has hosted international acts like Adele, Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, HAIM, AJ Tracey, Skepta, Charli XCX, Wolf Alice, Dave, Foals, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Lewis Capaldi…and Austrian acts like OSKA, Alicia Edelweiss, Good Wilson, AVEC, Cari Cari, and many more.
