Does your band play original music, and are you looking to extend your reach? Future Echoes, Sweden’s leading showcase festival, will be taking place for the third time from March 21 -23, 2024. Applications to perform are now open until November 30, 2023.
Founded in 2022, Future Echoes is a showcase festival focused on promoting networking between artists and industry professionals. The festival is held at several venues in central Norrköping, Sweden, and will host about 100 artists playing original music from all over the world, as well as an industry conference with international speakers.
Among the festival’s stated goals is a 50/50 male-to-female ratio; they also have spots reserved for non-binary artists. Successful applicants will receive the opportunity to play at least once during the festival.
The festival does not offer performance fees, but acts will receive conference passes and access to the festival’s delegate database. Each band also recieves a delegate pass for a manager or other representative. For more information see the application page.
Also planned for 2024 is a satellite festival in Canada, Future Echoes Toronto.
