5 Million Pesos is a monthly concert series featuring young jazz in and from Austria, presented by Radiokulturhaus Vienna and the Radio Ö1 jazz department.

In her solo project Millycent, Vienna singer and pianist Milly Groz combines mumble rap with trashy rhythms and, according to her homepage, “feminist re-interpretations of pop standards”. A comprehensive description of one of her witty live performances has to include the wonderfully erratic dada/scat excursions with which Milly Groz loves to refresh our astonished ears. In any case, this independent and individual performer has made an indelible name for herself in recent years.
Groz has recently expanded her act to include guitarist Markus Schneider and drummer Michael Naphegyi, with whom she now performs under the name Millycent Trio. Together, the three musicians manage to place her notoriously entertaining vocal and keyboard artistry in a musical setting even more colorful than before.
