The international trade fair for stage productions, music, and events celebrates its 30th anniversary this year from 21 to 24 January with an additional fifth stage, a country focus on SWITZERLAND, the awarding of an additional fourth FREIBURGER LEITER for the best Walk Act and a series of anniversary surprises.
Artists and exhibitors from 25 countries are expected to take part. Halls 1 and 2 are fully booked with nearly 400 exhibitors. A broadly based supporting programme and new offers complete the programme.
Daniel Strowitzki, Managing Director of FWTM, commented:”With this extensive and diverse range of products and services, the trade fair offers such a wealth of information and communication possibilities that every visitor will be well equipped with many ideas, contacts and concrete arrangements for the new event year. In addition, the country focus on SWITZERLAND in particular contributes to new, transnational perspectives and opportunities for trade visitors. The IKF thus impressivley proves its outstanding position in the international cultural and event sector… and all that by the age of 30.”

This year the world music combo Donauwellenreiter, Christina Zurbrügg & Band, the female a-capella band Beat Poetry Club, and the Tyrolean jazz, world and folk music trio Jütz will perform at the Kulturbörse. In addition, Federspiel from Lower Austria will be honoured with a performance at the opening gala on 21 January.
